Writing Submissions

Literary submissions must be original works; fan-fiction, fan art, AI-generated content, and plagiarism are not permitted. Submissions may not exceed 2,000 words and should avoid explicit sexual content or gratuitous violence. All submitters must be currently enrolled at Conestoga High School at the time of submission.

Art Submissions

All ceramic submissions must include a photograph taken against a blank background with no visible smudges, unless the background intentionally and compositionally enhances the piece. All non-digital artwork must be photographed so that the edges of the image align as closely as possible with the edges of the artwork; any space beyond the piece must be blank. Photos must be well-lit and clear enough for details to be easily visible, as blurry images will not be accepted. If submitting a series of non-digital works, such as a diptych, triptych, or other collection, pieces may be submitted separately (with clear indication that they are part of a collection) or together in a single image, provided they are arranged meaningfully on a blank background. No AI artwork, and any references used must be clearly cited in the submission. Fan art depicting fictional characters is not permitted, and submitters should ensure that image quality is high enough for print, as selected works will ultimately be printed in the magazine. All submitters must be currently enrolled at Conestoga High School at the time of submission.
